Certificate in Professional Kitchen Cook

Professional kitchen cook is the primary certification course at L’ARTISTE – INSTISTUTE OF CULINARY ARTS. This certification course is basic foundation course in which students will learn essential fundamentals of kitchen as well as different regional and international cuisines. Students will be privileged to learn classical and innovative dishes under the instruction and guidance by our master chef in the special session of master class.

Key Modules

INTRODUCTION TO CULINARY

In this module we will discuss the organization of classical and modern kitchen, responsibilities of a cook, importance of sanitation in food preparation, and mise en place.

UNDERSTANDING THE BASICS

In this module we will educate the students about the elements and classification of soups, principles of preparing soups and stocks and their garnishes. Students will also learn about the basic French mother sauces with their derivatives and basic Indian gravies.

WORLD CUISINES

In this section students will come across the regional and international cuisines worldwide. From regional lentil, rice preparations to continental and oriental delicacies, students will know the art and science of culinary preparation with hands on preparation. Students will achieve basic skills, terminology and rules of kitchen, and preparing quality food.

EXCLUSIVE MASTER CLASS

This is an arena of innovation where students will meet highly skilled chefs for an exclusive master class session. This session will bring out the enthusiasm of students and they will be able to perform with utmost creative minds.
